This pergola is not wood – it is aluminum! High tech, factory prefinished – maintenance free heavy weight aluminum.
An aluminum pergola will not rot or warp like cedar pergolas or those made from other woods. Cracking or splitting of the wood and insect infestation are additional problems often encountered with a wood outdoor patio pergola.
On our aluminum pergolas, the factory applied finish is highly durable and virtually eliminates the need for maintenance. In darker colors, your metal pergola can look like stained wood, while saving you the headaches that a wood outdoor pergola can cause. Seven colors are available.
The Four Seasons Building Products lattice shade cover on our metal pergolas gives you the flexibility to determine the amount of shade it provides, from 40% to 60% to total shade. Any combination of shade and sunlight can also be created, offering more shade under a portion of the Lattice cover while the other portion allows as much sunlight as desired.
Deep embossing of the aluminum patio cover lattice and other components gives a realistic woodgrain appearance that looks like freshly painted wood. You get a long lasting, vibrant finish because the baked on carbon/fluoride Kynar 500 protective coating on our Four Seasons Building Products Ultra Series is applied on top of a primer coat that is also baked on. It outperforms any other coating system for aluminum products in the patio cover industry.
Fancy shaped rafter tails on your new aluminum metal pergola can closely mimic the details of custom crafted wood. Rafter ends are available in scallop, corbel, miter or bevel style (see below).
